Willow Wood Animal Hospital is locally owned by Dr. Scott Whiteman, who has lived in New Albany and the surrounding communities for more than 35 years. A proud Buckeye, Dr. Whiteman grew up in Dayton and earned his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University.

I needed to find a vet’s office close to home and picked Willow Wood because of their good reviews. I brought my cat here for the 1st time earlier this week just for a routine check-up and shots. Dr. Hess and the rest of the staff were all so nice and knowledgeable, and were awesome at helping my cat be comfortable during his visit!

The staff is excellent and ditto for the doctors. They are all compassionate, caring, and always take the time to acquaint themselves with the pets. I’ve gone to this Veterinarian office for nearly 20 years and wouldn’t think of going anyplace else. Dr. Whiteman has seen me through three dogs. He’s so patient and you know instantly that he truly cares. Five stars + for sure!!!
